Life
I am now a Cherokee bead artist in Oklahoma. I only went to Merkel my senior year. It was a major cultural shock, coming from a large school to a small one. Everyone was great for the most part. It was fun, but if I remember right I was a trouble maker. I am married to a wonderful man, James. Have two great step-sons, James and Steven. My daughter Cecilia was born while I was living in Merkel, she won't admit to being an Okie, she tells everyone she is a transplanted Texan. I have a great granddaughter, Allison. st. I would like to get in touch with those I went to school with. Merkel High School, Charles Page High School, and those from Keystone. My husband and I like going to the lake, long drives, I have even gone hiking, if you can believe that. We went to Robber's Cave a few years ago, was hiking and James got bit by a rattle snake, of course I was quite a ways outta there before I realized I left him. I did go back, the snake didn't get through his boot. Boy did I feel awful about leaving him. James works for OU so enough said there.
