Hello to fellow River Dellians (is that a word?) - Currently living in the Metro DC area, have one college-age daughter not living at home, single, working in a school, loving life.
During the spring and summer, my fingernails are permanently dirty from gardening. I have 2 dogs, 4 frogs, 1 cat, love watching the birds, the moon, people . . .

I love to travel and yearn for a "winnebago."
I like to ride horses and sail, watch movies, read, eat, nap, work out.
I'm very liberal, politically, and feel confident that we'll soon have a Dem in the big house. Living inside the beltway is interesting, politically.
The environment is of prime importance to me - just look outside at what's there now, think about what used to be there, and what will be there in 50 more years.
