Jaime's Story
Life
After high school I attended UW-Platteville for a degree in Broadcast Management. I also met my husband there. After college we both got jobs in radio (he on the air, me in sales/promotions) and got married in 1990. We moved to Iowa, Virginia, then finally Minnesota. I got out of the radio thing and went to school to be a travel agent. I worked as a corporate agent for Target stores, booking their employees for business trips. We moved back to Milwaukee and I became a government travel agent...Expand for more
, booking FBI agents, Department of Defense, and FEMA agents along with other government employees all over the world. After we had our son Spencer in 1997, I quit the travel thing and went to work in my dad's metal finishing company outside Milwaukee. I bought the company last year. My husband Mike is still in radio and is the Director of Operations for Metro Networks, a traffic and news reporting agency in Milwaukee. He does traffic reports on 5 different stations, which is pretty cool, I guess.
