Jakarta's Story
After high school I went immediately to college. I attended Georgia Southern University and had a blast. I received my B.A. in Psychology in Spring 08 and then I volunteered for a year with Americorps NCCC.
That was a lot of fun. I worked with FEMA in Galveston, TX after hurricane IKE. Then I worked with the Crown King ...Expand for more
Fire Department in AZ. After that it of to TN and the Great Smoky Mountains. Our last project was with the Boys and Girls Club in Freeport, TX.
During that time I feel that I really learned a lot about myself and the state of things around me.
Now I'm working on obtaining my M.A. in Child and Adolescent Development.
