Frank's Story
Life
Greetings! Frank here from class of 1975. The big news is that I retired in March of 2006. I would have never guessed that I'd retire at 48, but I was fortunate. The "honey do" list keeps me pretty busy and in my spare time I'm considering writing a cookbook.
Life is very good for me here in Indiana, although when offered a transfer 10 years ago, I never thought I'd fly over this state let alone live in it. I met my wife to be the day after I flew into town at a company happy hour. We were married 2 years later and have no children. My Wife, Teresa, was born in California, but her family moved immediately to Terre Haute Indiana where she grew up. We're living in a house that we designed and built with the help of her father here in Carmel Indiana. Carmel is a "artsie" little town much like Saratoga or Los Gatos.
I spent time researching a couple Ferrari models, but found that at 6'3" it's a tight fit. So Plan "B" was a new Corvette. They love their cars here in Indy so long as they're from Detroit.
I still enjoy sports. Golf, biking, music and tennis are still part...Expand for more
of my routine. My specs. are 6'3" at 235 lbs and still have my hair! lol. Not too bad for a 49 year old.
School
Just a short profile here. I was in the class of 1975 and one of those guys that knew a lot of people but didn't hang out with too many. I'd have lunch on the quad steps and visit with Nori Kraus, Cindy Walker, Randy Luckenbihl and Lori King to name a few. An interesting mix of individuals if you look back.
I played basketball and football for a few years and knew most of the jocks and some of the cheerleaders as well. I know Tim and Jackie Bowers, Tim Lund, Mike Bayless, Tim Hart, Bill Stryker, Phil Blake and hear from them from time to time.
All good friends, but I moved out of state not too many years after graduation and lost touch. Our 30th reunion was a treat. I had a great time and my wife thought you guys were just great. She commented before we made our way back to Indy that we seemed more like a family than just a bunch of classmates. A tribute to the good and simple times of those days when we got the chance to grow up and make friends that last.
