MY LIFE from 1957 till 2019 !! Moved to Pensacola, Florida one month after I graduated. Did not know at 18 and 6 mos. I could have stayed in Phoenixville and kept my Job!. All I needed to do was get myself a nice room with a bath. I was soooooo........ unhappy leaving but that is what a girl did if not married back then!! How different my life would have turned out.!!? Would have ,could have , should have!!* We are what choices we make!!? Came back to Phoenixville one year later. Then went back to Pensacola; met the wrong man had my daughter in Laurel Mississippi; I lived there for 11 months then moved to Milton where my Mother lived. I named my daughter Trina Marie; Trina was six months old when I went back to Milton. Lived there for two years then met the right man and moved to Phoenixville while he was in Vietnam for six months. We got married in August 1970! I Have been married 49 years this year to a Marine who spent 32 years in the Corps. Have traveled all over these United States and we spent 2 years in Sicily WOW!! We really enjoyed that !! I have one daughter and two sons, three grandsons that are so handsome, and one beautiful 22year old granddaughter; Fact not Fiction!!! I have healthy beautiful children. I now live in Virginia Beach, Virginia for last 33 years. Doing great having fun in my later years. Don't feel old at all not with my three boys ages 16yrs. and 21yrs. and 26 yrs. They keep me young and Busy and Broke!! My husband has been retired from the Corps for over 30 years. and is now retired from the U.S. Post Office after another 18 years service!! In 1989 he retired from the U.S. Marine Corps; He served for 32 years!! Was a DI at Paris Island and a DI at Pensacola Florida also!!! PENSACOLA is where we met and he courted me very aggressively!! We have a good life and live in a very large flat busy city; that is quickly becoming a much Larger city!! We only live 10 miles from the beach! We really can go North, South, or East to get to three different Beaches!! There are Five Military Bases within 50 miles of us in all directions also!! A Great place to come for some Rest and Relaxation!!! Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me! Come on down !! I would love to see Old Friends. Surprise me Joe ?? This is a Great Place to Vacation at!! For Real!!! So many Things to do and Places to see!! Any one know where my good friend Ernie Jacob is; Lansdale nice place; hope you are well and have plenty of Healthy Grandchildren!! I wish him only good things and good health! Yes!! Jake I think of you at least Three times a year!!?? My best blessings to you and yours. Also, Hi Chico!! You are a very special person and I love you dearly! You are someone so special to me and I call you a True Friend!! All my love and Blessings to you!! Moved to Pottstown I heard; hope only the most joy for you!! I can truly say I had a great time in High School in 1960 thru 1964!! " Remember Everyone, we were the FIRST NINTH grade class to go to Phoenixville High School because they were still building the brand NEW Junior High School?"!!?? Remember all the weird places we had classes?? We had classes in closets and almost every space in the school not used so FOUR Grades could go to class for the Whole year of 1960,!!!!! " Remember???! " We had so much fun that year !! Be Happy, Stay Healthy!! I really enjoyed the 40th reunion!! Found a few Good lost friends, we reconnected it was great!! I also walked Every Street that I use to live on and Cherry Street too Ernie!#* No Joke!!!? They still; this New Generation Troll the streets to pick up girls, I got a few horn beeps !! I really went for a Two Hour walk through Phoenixville; it felt so wonderful!!! It was a beautiful Sunny November afternoon, it was a joy for me, all by myself to reflect on my life;!! My life has been hard at times But I have always been a survivor and hard as nails; got some of my Wonderful Grandmother in me; and she was soooooo... good; also lots of good warm memories!! It made me feel so good! I count my blessings every day! Everyone count yours too ! Every Day is a Gift!! Went to a Toby Keith Concert last week had a blast!!! Listen to some of his music you will get hooked too!! Eric Church too! Country Music! I'm just a Simple Florida Country Girl inside, always have been.!!! Update: Barbara flew down to Virginia Beach in October 2006 to spend Three wonderful days with me and my husband. We went to another Toby Keith concert Together in a LIMO, so we could have a Few Bottles of Champagne and have someone else do the driving!! Fantastic!!!!! We laughed and cut up like we were 18 again!! Awesome Time together! The weather that weekend was so perfect for her visit. We both are the same two crazy 18 year olds, but with so many tales to tell each other !!? We laughed so much!!! Make each day count.
