James's Story
Life
After moving to Simi Valley (about 10th grade) I abandoned school for the pursuit of feeling good. Then I joined the Marines. 3 Years of that, 2 and a half of it in New Orleans (partied a tad there), (bumped into Lois Schlagle? there during Mardi Gras '82 or '83) honorable discharge yadda yadda....Evergreen State College, Olympia,WA 2years (no degree) more pursuit of feeling better with some success. l different types of semi-interesting jobs that suck. Became a father of twins! Divorced. Drive a piece of shit car and play in rock and blues band for the last 6 years with Northridge alums Ron Cleek, Chris Morrison and for a couple years Scott Dery (but he's no longer with the band). Our band has had it's CD played a few times on the radio and we've opened for rock and blues acts such as Savoy Brown, Michael Shenker and Great White.
