James Barry:  

After High School began college career at OSU and SOC. Left college and joined US Army and volunteered for Vietnam. Served with the First Cavalry and received Bronze Star for Meritorious Service. Returned from Vietnam, married and resumed college. Received two degrees from the University of Oregon: BFA in Fine and Applied Arts BS in Computer and Information Science Daughter Jordan Elizabeth Barry born. Daughter Brooke Victoria Barry born. Worked for 2 two years in Chicago. Then began career with Hughes Aircraft Company in Fullerton California. Worked with team that developed software to display graphics on the displays in the Command and Control Centers of US Navy warships. Moved with family to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia where I worked for ARAMCO (the Arabian American Oil Company). Son Bret Andrew Barry born in Saudi Arabia. Traveled the world, Europe, Asia, Africa etc. Five week around the world tour. Safari in Kenya. Regular trips to London, Paris and Rome. Lived with family for five weeks on a small island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Returned to US and divorced. Returned to Saudi Arabia where I worked for the Saudi Consollidated Electric Company in the Easterm Province (SCECO). Continued traveling.
