James's Story
I was raised in Ogden Dunes and went to Portage HS graduating in 1962. Went into the Army and was stationed at the 513th Military Intel Corp in the finance division in Oberursel, Germany. I paid the under cover agents in Europe was known as the real 007! Moved to Oklahoma and went to college at Northeastern Sate University receiving a double major in accounting & business administration in Tahlequah, OK. (Capital of the Cherokee Nation). resort in Norman so literally went to the dogs! My customers never talked back, just bit once in a while. I built and operated a 65 run dog kennel and cattery for 33 years when I retired and moved back to Tahlequah. Tahlequah is in the foothills of the Ozark's. A tourist town with river floating, museums and a beautiful place to live. I brought Pickleball to Tahlequah. It's the fastest growing sport in America and a great sport for young & old. This Veterans Day my husband and I will have been together for 20 yrs. We are very active in the community.
