Life After high school I went to BYU for a year and then on an LDS mission to New Zealand. Went back to BYU (Salt Lake)(did some summer stock theatre- in Bountiful- was Charlie Brown in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and "The Unsinkable Molly Brown") and then transferred to the University of Utah. Did pre-med there while working as a computer tech and orderly in LDS hospital surgery; switched gears and graduated in Psychology, got my MBA and JD at the U of U. Met my wife Christina during law school; we have three great kids, Rachel, Josh (just left on a mission to Puerto Rico), and Jaymie, our debater (he's a senior at Bingham HS, leader and Debater of the Year on debate team that won 5A Championship). Started consulting work at the Utah Small Business Development Center while in graduate school, later was Assistant State director and Director of the U of U SBDC before I was the State Director of the SBDC in New Hampshire (traveled all over New England, NY & Washington- fun!!).
