James's Story
Most of you might remember me as Greg, not James. I married Janice Davis (THS 1968) on Dec. 22, 1971 - we are approaching 44 years now. I have spent the last 31 years developing and constructing wind energy and solar energy projects on a utility scale. I have been very fortunate and have traveled all over the world. Prior to that, I was a radar air traffic controller at Los Angeles Center, fired in the PATCO strike of 1981. We have one son, Jeremy, who lives in Seattle with his wife and our two wonderful grandchildren, Corbin, 5 and Natalie, 3.

initas, CA since 1985. We occasionally visit Turlock, Jan's mom is now in Paramount Assisted Living. It has change immensely since I left in 1971. There are probably five times as many people there. Markely 's Dairy used to be way out on Berkeley, now there are houses there. The university has grown, when I went there in 68-71, I doubt there were even 1,000 students. When you live near the Pacific Ocean, you forget how hot the valley can be. It is nice to see that Turlock has developed some very fine eating establishments, although I am sure we all miss Manjo's!
