James's Story
After HS, started college, got drafted,
Medic in the Army for 8 yrs. Used the GI Bill, degrees in social science, (history/pre-law) applied sciences and Nursing.
As an RN have worked in ICU's, CCU's, ER's, Home Health, but my best job was with a Cardiologist. For 5 years, she and I (and occasionally my wife) criscrossed the country--going to MEETINGs--read that as playing golf. Lucky enough to play 56 PGA tour tournament courses.
And she even paid me too!!!!!
Met my current wife (31...Expand for more
yrs worth) while she was going to Nursing School.
After I got out of the Army we moved to
Oklahoma, where her family--read that as HORSES--lived. Here ever since.
Still ER Nursing and playing golf.
I have a deal with the horses, I don't get on their backs and they don't get on mine. Three children,
5 grandchildren, currently just
2 horses, a dog, and a few barn cats, not really sure how many, it seens to vary from week to week.
Looking foward to seeing old friends and classmates soon.
