Life
Well, I'll be......
I can't believe it has been over 20 yrs since I have thought about Charlotte High and all my freinds and classmates. I have had a tremndous life. Some bad but mostly good like many of you. I left High school and went to Tampa for USF. Since I was more interested in a party than school, the first year of college was fun but not very good on grades. (you can tell by my spelling and punct.) I decided not to go to med school then. I became a Paramedic for Hillsborough Co. and worked there for 15 yrs. I loved every bit of it. I got married and 18 mo. later divorced. No kids. Moved to Centereach NY on LI and was at the SUNY StonyBrook for the Physician Assistant program. (Still didn't want to be a doctor. Too many hours not enough play time.) At 35 I was one of the oldest in the program. After that I returned to Tampa and was working in Family Practice for the past 4.5 yrs. f this world. I always wanted to be a dad. It's great. My wife is a nurse, I met at one of the hospitals I did rounds at.We live just north of Tampa in Wesley Chapel. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats(not by my choice), and a large salt water fish tank. My wife calls me Mr.Limpit (you had to see the movie)We like to travel. We have access to a condo on Madiera BCH during the summer. We love spending time together everywhere we go. I have recently changed to a specialty practice. I am in urology now. Much better job. Not long hours like in family practice. I get to assist in surgery and do some procedurs in the office. It's like being a doctor w/o all the bad parts like malpractice insurance.(doctor has to pay for it) I don't have to take call anymore. No more getting up in the middle of the night to admit patients in the hospital, like in family practice.
I hope all of you are well and would like to hear from anyone who would like to write.
