James's Story
My wife and I live in Springfield, Ohio. Retirement has been very good, although It seems I am always busy with something. My wife and I love baseball and traveling, so we have made it a "bucket list" item to visit every major league park in the US. We have only six to go: Blue Jays, Twins, Royals, Mets, White Sox, and Braves. The Reds are our favorite. We take in a couple ew parks each year.
I enjoy shooting sporting clays, woodworking, yard work, reading, watching sports, swimming, writing, Bible study, and traveling, I taught adult Sunday School classes at our church for several years. My wife and I have gone on two major mission trips recently: St. Petersburg, Russia in 2011, and just this month for two weeks in the Philippine Islands. She is an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse and helps with the medical aspect of these trips.
We are busy with our church, our four children, and ten grandchildren. They live in Houston, Dallas, Washington DC, and Columbus, Ohio. All ten grandchildren are between the ages of 2 and 15.

had to keep me young and alert. Many have become doctors, judges, professors, pilots, pastors, car dealers, and everything in between.
Summary of my working years.
• Retired from full-time teaching in 2001 (36 years in education (English, journalism, reading, driver education, data processing, GED—Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, Writing); Basic Skills Specialist (math and reading), Computer Lab Administrator; Supervised gifted and talented program, Coordinator (OWE, job skills), Supervisor: driver education); Assistant Principal Springfield City Schools, GED Instructor.
• Celina City Schools, Celina Senior High, 2 -years; Northeastern Local Schools, Springfield, 16-years; Springfield City Schools, 18-years.
• Part time: Clark State Community College, Adjunct Faculty Instructor (Freshmen English, Writing 1 & 2), 16-years.
• Part time: Clark County Jail, GED Instructor 22-years.
• Now: Teach Clark County Municipal Court's "Traffic School" for adult offenders, 3-years.
• Now: Courier for General Motors Corp. transporting new vehicles anywhere east of the Mississippi River to the East Coast, 9 years..
• Now: Writing a book.
