Life
Worked for Piper Aircraft after graduating from IRCC waiting for draft into Army. (That's another story) Went to work for The Hartford claims in 1967 in West Palm and Tampa. Joined AllState Claims in 1969. All area's of claim management in West Palm and Ft. Lauderdale. Married Beth Zachow in 1972. Two wonderful children, Jennifer born 1975 and Michael born 1977. Retired from AllState in 1989. Joined a very large Plaintiff law firm in West Palm as an Investigative Paralegal specializing in the litigation of Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Products Liability. Finally retired in May,2005. Beth stayed home taking care of the kids (and me) until Michael started school. She spent so much time with volunteer work, they decided to hire her. 23 years. Although still a puppy, she didn't want me to retire alone, so retired herself in June, 2005. We had owned RV's for years before retirement and our Mom's and Dad's before that and have always enjoyed the outdoors. We decided to sell out lock, stock and everything else we owned and on May 20, 2005, we jumped in the Motorhome with our dog Skyler and hit the road. We have a 41' motorhome with 4 slider rooms when stopped. We pull a jeep behind us all together about 63 feet of vehicle and all we need for our life on the road! We have traveled all over the North West and to Alaska.. This is a great land to see and Beth and I feel the very best way to do it is on the road. We Have now settled down in Burleson, Texas where both our kids live and enjoy 4 wonderful grandkids. What a life so far!
