During my Junior Year at SD 1969 there was a movement to change the name SD Rebels.I was involved in some of the events and they were not all good ones.I remember after a game with Killian High there was a rebellion.I barely escaped the melee on my motorcycle.Students were walking the halls with tshirts that read black power and white power on them,these were trying times.I dated Rhonda W...Expand for more
ilson,and my best friend was Bobby Bradley.We had a blast partying in the lime groves.I now live in Kingsport Tenn.Work as an electrician in a glass plant.Sure do miss jumping off the canal bridges on hot days.Sometimes when I hear old songs like crimsom&clover by Tommy Jaynes and the Shondales,and My Sheree More by I can't remember,I get cold chills running thru me.Those were the good ole days.
