Jim's Story
Life
After High School, spent four years at Ventura JC and Cal Lutheran. Then four years in the Navy during the Vietnam war. After the war, lived mainly in San Francisco. Spent 28 years in the Sheriff's Department, from which I retired five years ago. Now working as a Mental Health Specialist in Bend, Oregon. Married, with one adopted daughter who is now 25. nese Tea Ceremony, Zen, Ikebana, and eastern philosophy and religion. Picked up master's degrees in psychology, jurisprudence,and public admin. My wife, Loni, is a Lactation Consultant at a local hospital. My mother has passed, but all my siblings and my father are still with me. I spend most of my free time gardening, working out with weights, motorcycling, mountain bike riding, and meditating.
