James's Story
Life
I married my soulmate, Kim, in 1991. We have two fantastic children, Matthew (1994) and Melanie (1996). I know all parents say that.
Workplace
I started my career with New Fairfield Police in 1986. I clicked my heels and left The Land of Oz in 2001 for New Milford Police. Police work has been an interesting career choice! It has been rewarding, disheartening, boring, frightening but above all fun! I have seen people at their worst.

different instructor certifications in various tactical areas. I am most proud of my status as an instructor with child passenger safety. I truly feel that I am making a difference.
To my brother/sister officers: Don't be the example, set the example!
To average everyday people: Cops don't get paid to sit in the cruiser and watch traffic, we get paid to handle the situations you can't! To find what went bump in the night, confront it and make it go away!
