James's Story
I am currently music director for The Heritage Harbour Chorus in Annapolis, MD; and St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Annapolis, MD. Prior to this second go round as a musical artist, I had 14 years as a corporate drone with AT&T and Lucent Technologies in marketing, as an account manager on Capitol Hill, and finally as a corporate communications assistant to one of the presidents of the corporation. (I took a buy out when the tech bubble burst.) And before that I was in Nashville, LA, NYC, Miami and Sydney, Australia...Expand for more
playing the piano, writing music for theatre, corporations, and recordings. Yes, you can see me on the occasional old Hee Haw rerun. I'm a little bearded face behind a piano. It's been an interesting career. Latest News, I co-produced and performed on a 2007 Wammie Nominated CD Sally Martin: "Another Time, Another Place" My latest composition "The Chartered Course" was commissioned by the City of Annapolis and was performed in 2008. I run a concert series at St. Margaret's Church and often perform there as well.
