Life
Not sure how many remember me at Euclid High School since I was hardly ever in school. I did not graduate from EHS but did receive my GED and received my Bachelors Degree in Information Systems in August 2002 from University of Phoenix and my Masters in 2005 (Extremely hard and school, took over 3 yrs to complete the BS and just under 2 for the MS degrees).
I was in the Navy for 10 1/2 yrs, was married for 16 yrs and have three kids 24 on active duty navy, 22 on active duty army and currently in Afghanistan os of this writing and 16 (boy, boy, girl). Unfortunately as with most marriages in the 90's mine ended too, but a little later in Jan 2001. After the navy I went into computer automation for machines (I designed a new computerized control system and installed it for the double loop at Geauga Lake in 1994 (they have since replaced the controls around 2008). Did you ride it??????).
I currently do design, programming and other work on the water treatment plants...Expand for more
for the City of San Diego as a consultant with the company I work for as a Project Engineer with a salary in the 6 figures. (Not bad for somoene almost at the bottom of the class and didn't graduate.)
I live in San Diego now and love it here. I used to miss the snow and change of season in Ohio, but being in San Diego makes up for it. I joined the Naval Reserves in April 2000 so I can get a retirement from them. After September 11th with the call up of reservists, I was wondering if I would be called. Sure enought, December 28th my phone rang and I was told I would be going to the Middle East to a country called Bahrain in the Persian Gulf. I left Las Vegas on Jan 4th for San Diego then arrived in Bahrain on Jan 12. I was assigned to Security and was glad to do my part due to the recent events. In 2007 I received a commission as a naval officer, and still going strong with the reserves with over 20 yrs in the Navy so far. Write back and let me know how you are doin.
