James's Story

To no suprise to those that have known me, I am in the automotive business. I have enjoyed a challenging and rewarding carrer in this field but frankly would never choose it again on a life rewind. Long hours, missed family time and the list goes on. (Helped contribute to a devorce) I enjoyed the ownership of a small pre-owned retail lot for about eleven years. 9/11 helped with the closure of my entreprenurial venture. Many lessons learned over a brief lifetime and I am a much better person for them. I have to agree with the power that Joe Cocker sings into the Beetles song...I get by with a little help from my freinds. There have been turning points in my life that have been very rewarding but not before they have been extremely challenging. The best choice that I will historicly ever have made was when I finally turned my life over to Christ and began a new journey lead by His path rather than my own. This has taken me deeper than I ever thought possible and has grown and stretched me more than I believed I had an ability to accomplish. Today, as of October 09 I live in central Florida. Never thought I would end up here, either. I am one who has discovered that most probably have always had a blood sugar inconsistancey and now also realize what seasonal affect actually can mean in ones life. Need that sunshine to keep going. I am a memeber of a fitness club and work out four times a week. I love hitting the gym at 6 in the morning and staying at the top of my game all day. I make a point of eating healthy because my blood sugar rebells if I don't. Nothing worse than a food hang over. While I really appreciate groups such as Selah I still find that the Who and Leonard Skinard top the list while Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, Kenny Chesney and the likes keep my faith that there are still people that actually know how to play and write REAL music. People who are caught in the past stereo typing from past scenarios and want to continue to pigeon hole others I have no time for. I own a couple of classic cars (go figure) and still enjoy wide open throttle driving where and when I can get to a drag strip or open road. ( However, here in Florida, You can loose you car to the authorities for doing that o...Expand for more
n the street.) Yes, still an adrenalin attachment there. Send an email if your kind. I will have to code my email so I hope you catch it. Here it is; car guy 2006 at net zero. net If not please see the Democratic party, I'm sure they are running low on negetivism by now. (Where is that darn spell check button anyway?) If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have freedom, money , and sunshine to be able to deal with the day-to-day. As of , now, February, 2012: President Obama, You, REALLY SUCK ! ! Please pray for America. If your still in the mid west? You are protected from the real world. Four more years of Obama as President will deliver we Americans to socializm and further moral bankruptcy. Disney is a fantesy world. An escape. We Americans won't escape the grip of four more years of his policy. On a lighter note. I love being able to drive an hour and a half and sit on the shore and listen to and view the ocean. Bright, hot sunny days of summer where the temps are 105* are just fine in my book. August 28,2012; Thank you LORD for diverting Iasac to the west of Florida. Pray for them folks in La. I keep in touch with friends and former co-workers in the big Oh 10 (Ohio for you folks that have never engaged in truck driving and C B's. Yah, they still use those.) Marching onward toward 57 ( that's not my gene poole) is some what even more liberating. I find that the challenges never stop. They just change face. That is to say life, at least for me, has always come with a brief respite and then an even greater challenge. I look at it like this, while I don't want to invite difficulties. I have to keep trust in the LORD and continue to to accept the challenge. If you ever want to know about what the actuality of a true relationship with JESUS CHRIST is. I would be up to the challenge of attempting to assit you with gaining some understanding. And for those of you that were aquainted with me during my isanity years, please accept my sensere apology. See you at the "N.H.R.A. Gator Nationals" at Gainsville Dragstrip, Florida, spring 2013. Nothing like 300 mile per hour funny cars and top fuel eleminators burning nitro methane alcohol to get y our blood flowing. Best sixty bucks you'll ever spend.
