James's Story
Life
Married 49 years; 5 children ages 48 46,45,35,& 34; grandchildren -9,great grandchild -1 U.S. Army 66-68 ,1st Air Calvary(Vietnam);B.A.& J.D.; Law practice was in Anaheim; home is in La Mirada - 45 years. Retired 2012! Enjoy golf,photography, travel and being with friends and family especially the 3 youngest grandchildren ages 8,6,& 1.
The other 6 grandchildren range in age from 19 to age 29.
Gatherings at our home are frequent particularly for the holidays and summer vacations. I am very active in my parish Church and in the L,A. Archdiocese thanks to my dearly departed parents insisting that we attend Catholic Schools thru High School and keeping us involved in Parish activities as we grew up before we left home. o also came from a devote, active Catholic family and who also had a Catholic education thru high school -Pius X High School .
Hence all 5 of our children attended Catholic Schools ending with graduation from St, Paul High School in Santa Fe Springs. I am very thankful for the many blessings I have received from God in my life and I am especially grateful that I was given God's gift of marriage to Pat who has shared and given so much of herself to me and our children and their children. She has all the talents that I lack and so much need like being artistic, musically talented, a great cook, so loving and uncritical of others. Mt .Carmel provide me with a great education to succeed in life but the best part was to deepen my love of God and helping me to better understand my real purpose in this life.
