James's Story
Well here it is short and sweet. I attended Mary H. Parmalee Elementary, graduated in the last year before they closed the shcool. Went on to Strough Junior High for the next three years, passed pretty much by the skin of my teeth. I started my sophmore year at Rome Free Academy, but an abusive home life and tensions at school landed me in prison for five years.
This was a total awakening at the age of 16. I got out at the age of 21 and worked on fitting back into society.
Lived in plenty of places, Syracuse, Buffalo, Tulsa,OK., Ashland, OK., now reside in Ozark, AR..
Married 8 years and divorced in Buffalo. One daughter out of that, will be 14 this year. Remarried in Tulsa, two step kids, boy 19 and daughter 22..

d best friend. Always wondered what happened to those that I grew up with and been a part of my life all those years. Even if those people were acquaintences and not really interactive in my life at that time. I still remember names if not faces!
All my family is still in Rome. I come back to visit once every couple of years for a few days. Rome has changed so much, but then again it still has some of it's old memories. I search for familiar faces in the stores, but never see anyone I might have known.
You might be able to catch all my trials and tribulations in the near future as I am writing my autobiography and hope to have it published.
