Life
Well it is getting close to VHS class of 1969 Forty years anniversary!! Can you believe that? Who is going to step up to the plate, and work on our anniversary reunion? I will help out, whoever volunteers, to do that. It is a couple of years away, so we have some time. About me, Yes I'm married, got a total of five kids, one is mind, and the other four is from my wife. I even have two grand children. One is serving in the Army in Afghanistain, and one living in State of Washington. Just recently retired from Civil Service, after working for them for 34 years!! Spent some time in the Navy, including Vietnam. Now working part time with County of Riverside, as a part time Fire Science Instructor. Can't believe I'm a Teacher, I use to remember what I said about teachers, 40 years ok!!! Can not believe how time has past of us by, Would love to hear your story. I'm only 30 miles from Vista, in a town call Murrieta, Ca. 92562. I still go over to Peppertree Drive for burgers, every now and them, and see the home town. ery lucky have heard from a lot of old friends. It is very shocking to all of us, we are all getting old. But we still have the spirit!! We all agree that we need to do a knock out 40 year aniversary. We need to be there for the homecoming game. It will be strange to be at the new high school and not the old one. If anyone still remembers me, please feel free to drop me a line. Lets all be sure, we hold the 40 year anniversary, this might be the last one for many of us. I know my health is not a good, as I wish it was. I still have problems from Vietnam, Agent Orange, took a toll on me. Just remember, Vista High Panthers rule. How many us remember our home coming game, the half time theme, was Up, Up, and Away, by the Fifth Dimension. Would that be nice, if they would honor us, with the same half time we had 40 years ok? I always wonder, if any of us, came back as teachers for Vista High? As Always, Jim Kelly
