James's Story
Life
I now reside in Anchorage, Alaska. In Summer of 2002 I began making visits to this awesome State and within a year I had been here four times before finally moving here in Summer of 2003. August 1st was my first day, actually. I first began working for Delta Air Lines immediately as a Ramp Agent loading the huge 767 and 757 aircraft that fly here. After about six months I found an opportunity to join the family of Lynden companies and went to work for Lynden Air Cargo as a Manifest Desk Agent. Now I am living in a great apartment and enjoying the great outdoors and adventure that Alaska has to offer. Since I moved here the photography bug has bitten me. Update - 4/2018
This August 2018 will mark my 15th year in Alaska. I still love it here as much as the day I first arrived. When I visit my family back in Florida I'm keenly aware that my acclimation to the cold is thorough. I now work in the same warehouse I mentioned above, however my duties have changed by leaps and bounds. I now have a full CDL and drive Lynden trucks around town whenever I'm not loading the Hercules Cargo planes with a loader. I love it here. Wouldn't dream of leaving it.
