James's Story
Life
Am Currently living in Radcliff, KY. Married with two kids. One boy who's 10yrs old and a daughter who is 3yrs old. Been busy with work and buying a house. I feel like Tim the Toolman with all the things a house needs. I am getting quite good with spackle, paint, plumbing and electricity.
My biggest passion besides the kids is my motorcycles right now. My wife bought me a 2004 GSX 1300r "Hayabusa" as a welcome home present from Iraq. Been riding as much as possible till the snow flies. I also have a motorcross bike and so does my son. We have a lot of fun on the track and exploring trails. I recommend everybody tries riding, it's so much fun.
Like to fish and hunt, but with my job I don't get to do it that much. Kinda hard to take a couple of days when your training two weeks or more...Expand for more

Military
I have been in the Army since Oct 89. I have served in Ft. Hood TX, Ft. Polk LA, a year in Korea, six months in Port au Prince Haiti, three years for recruiting in Dubois PA, Iraq for Desert Shield/Storm for eight months and just got back in July after 15 months in Baghdad and Al Kut Iraq. Right now, I'm in Ft. Knox KY writing and evaluationg training for the new cavalry scouts in basic training.
Just got picked up for promotion to Sergeant First Class and I'm probably looking at another tour in Iraq. It's not as bad as the news makes it out to be. We are doing great things but that doesn't seem to be news worthy. And yes it does get tense sometimes, but most of the time your trying to keep busy reading, watching movies, and etc.
