James's Story
After high school, me of all people, decided to go to college. It actually took me 13 years to get my B.S. degree. I am a slow learner. I didn't realize I could do it in four years. Actually I first received my Associates degree because that is all I could afford. Then after attending UW I finally received my degree from Carroll College. Most of my 200 credits were earned in evening classes as I was working full-time. I was also married at the time and started a family. I have two children from that marriage. Although I was successful in my corporate accounting career, I wanted more and started my own accounting and tax practice. Eventually this evolved to financial planning. This was during my 15 years in Colorado. Now, through a variety of circumstances we ended up in Las Vegas. I am back working for corporate, a bank of all things, as a trust officer. All I can focus on now is spending retirement (someday) with my wife.
Well, retirement is now looking closer as I have found something that is getting me there that is my "PLAN A" It is a very unique opportunity that focuses on helping others.
