James's Story
Life
Well,-- alot has happened since High School..where to begin?
While you were graduating or at the prom, I was graduating basic training- I was with the Army from 1982-88, operating tanks-I got out and started a landscaping business, went to U. Lowell for 2 years on my Army G.I. Bill. In '93,
I AGAIN went back to school and completed my B.S. in horticulture.
'90-91, "THE GREAT DEPRESSION" hit Massachusetts, and I lost my business...
..I enlisted again! This time as a surgical assistant, which the Military paid for.
From 1993-99, I traveled much of the world, Korea, Japan, Hawaii,Germany, Mexico, and the U.S.
I currently reside in beautiful Washington state.
My career has again turned to the landscaping- not that I didn't like nursing, but I just seem to have a knack for Landscape Design and Construction. hile I was back in High School!
My Mother, Joan, and Father, Bruce "Juice" Marshall (yes, "THE GYM TEACHER") are doing fine. They are retired and split their residences between Florida in the winter and New Hampshire in the summer.
Nowdays I am into Irish/Celtic music, and play bodhran drum and pennywhistle in the band "Carrowmore", and recently started on fiddle. Scottish Highland Games are a passion as are fishing, camping, and nature. My dog, Ceilidh (Kaylee) is part border collie & Australian Shepherd. Since I have never had children, she is the light of my life. We go everywhere together. I love her SO MUCH!
My girlfriend, Chery, and I have been together for going on 6 years. She is a wonderful woman. Both of us have been married, and quite frankly, We don't see a reason to go down that road again...I know...I know, but actually, marriage is WAY overated. Put it this way...we're BOTH happier...haha...;) Let it go...
That's about it for me. For now. Feel free to write me and let me know how you are! Looking forward to it!
