James's Story
I married the following year out of high school. I had a beautiful daughter who has now bought me 3 fantastic grandkids.
As a family we travel every year-- going on cruises or road trips. We have gone to the caribbean and swam with dolphins/stingrays and we have even gone to the grand canyon. Every year is special. Last year we went to Hawaii.
I retired in 2003, after 30 years of teaching engineering, at LA Trade Technical College. My present wife recently retired from administrative work at Cal State Fullerton. We recently moved from Lak...Expand for more
ewood to Palm Desert California where I play golf most days.
Besides traveling with the grandkids each year, my wife and I travel extensively. We are going to visit the caribbean again in November 2009 and we have a 5-week golf trip planned to Australia/New Zealand in February 2010.
I have also had the opportunity to make Assistive Devises for people with disabilities at Rancho Los Amingos Hosptial in Downey.
Soon, I hope to begin volunteering at the Palm Springs Air Museum.
I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone at our 50th reunion.
