Life
Transferred to Minneapolis, MN in October, 1976, married a blind date, Carole adopting her (our) three boys adding a daughter in 1980. Since 1992 we have added 5 grandchildren (including twin boys) ranging from 9 months to 9 yrs old. Learned to ice skate and play hockey...coaching youth softball and hockey...ready for retirement after 33 yrs in Postal Service. Spring and summer beautiful here, winters kind of suck at times. I have retired (Feb. 2003) and we have built a lake cabin 3 hours north of Minneapolis near Leech Lake, MN. We are on a small private lake and built the cabin with enough room to sleep 14 people. Plenty of fishing and boating in the area outside our lake. After all, it is the land of 10,000 lakes and the "land of sky-blue waters - anybody remember the Hamm's beer bear. Yep, he was from here in St. Paul. If you are in the area, drop in. Always a cold refreshment availabale in the summer, and something warm during the winter.
