Jim's Story
Life
As of July 1, I am retired from the field of education. I spent last year as a middle school assistant principal in Jackson County(Commerce) and loved it. My wife is a principal of a middle school in Glynn County(Brunswick) Our daughter had her son, Owen, on January 26, 2005, and we just celebrated his first Christmas. He is truly a gift from God. Holding him has filled that hole in my heart since we lost our son four years ago. I am truly blessed.

orward a few years, my wife and I are both retired. We have been raising Owen, our grandson, pretty much since he was born. He enters the ninth grade next year at Glynn Academy here in Brunswick, GA. I'm doing my best to keep as low a profile as I can, enjoy what I have, and don't worry about what I don't. I'm a little goofy and try my best to find something funny out of events whenever I can. Too many people take themselves way to seriously, and I try to remedy that.
