James's Story
I joined the Marine Corps in 69. Duty stations included MCAS Cherry Point, NC, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Camp Pendleton, CA, MCAS Yuma, AZ, USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19).
Got out of the Corps in 78 and went to work at the Battle Creek Federal Center. I retired at the end of February in 2009.
I married Barb Thomas in November of 69. We have a great son Joe who lives in Stockton, CA. ...Expand for more
Joe is married and has no kids.
My marriage to Barb ended in divorce as did my marriage to Lorrie Bennett. I am now married to the former Roxanne Price from Harper Creek (class of 72). I have a step-daughter, Veronica Baker, who graduated from BCCHS in 2007.
My favorite thing to do in the summer is spend time at our camper down at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Fremont, IN.
