Life
Served 4 years in military intelligence, including postings all over the U.S. and in Korea. MA in international policy studies in '94. Became U.S. diplomat in '95. Been to Norway, UK, France, Belgium, Japan, Korea, Denmark, Poland, Argentina, Hong Kong, Thailand, Jordan, Russia, Vietnam, and a tour in Iraq (recommend you skip that one, but overall not too bad if you don't mind people shooting at you). ike to shoot--an old army skill I got back in touch with in Iraq--I love to play volleyball, captaining a team in my area, and I am on a mission to learn everything about anything, although laziness often overcomes that aspiration. Retired from US government service after a combined 26 years with the US Army, Foreign Service, and Central Intelligence Agency. Now back in California enjoying life and teaching the occasional class on critical thinking.
