Life Attended Rutgers College (then a men's school) after Neptune for college and graduate degrees; Retired as a Rutgers Dean after starting as a counselor 27 years earlier; Married since 1971 to to Barbara Faison of East Orange; Have lived in Plainfield since 1978; 3 grown children (born in 1971, 1975, 1976); Two grandsons and granddaughter; Active in politics, church (Bethel Presbyterian Church), and community affairs; Greatly enjoy analytical discussions concerning 1)urban concerns and policies 2)importance of families and faith 3)importance of com...Expand for more
petitive sports to teach life values Workplace Retired in 1999 after working 27 years at Rutgers in various positions including administrative dean (EOF Director), Associate Dean of accademic affairs, and Dean of Students at several colleges at Rutgers University since 1972; After retirement taught at an alternative school and detention center. I serve on several boards and commissions that center on my interest of helping urban communities (Commissioner Plainfield Housing Authority, Elder United/Bethel Presbyterian Church, YMCA Board Member, etc)

Every year near July 22 (my father’s birthdate) my family meets with me at which I recall family history through stories. They have a year’s notice to clear their busy calendars to devote to our family history on this day.
