Met my wife Sandy Douglas in Memphis Tenn while on graduation leave; married November 1967.

Moved to Marin Co CA (north of San Francisco) in 1985 and have been in general private practice since. Since 2008, I have been senior trial counsel for Summit Defense, a Bay Area criminal defense law firm.

edential. She attended graduate school at Dominican University until just a few days before she died November 1, 1999.
In June 2006, I reconnected via email with my West Point girlfriend, Candy Davis, who is the sister of one of my classmates. In October, I drove from California to Colorado to see her, arriving on October 19th, the exact 43rd anniversary of the day we first met at West Point. Candy moved to California in April 2007 and we are now engaged.
We have a rescue dog named Nano (part whippet, part ??), and four rescue cats, Frasier, McDuffy, Murphy & Maggie.
I resumed running in 1980 and ran competitively for several years, though now run only for recreation and fitness. Also play golf (poorly) and am an inveterate collector of collect casino chips & gaming memorabilia (am a life member of the Casino Chip and Gaming Token Collectors Club, an international group of chip collectors), logo golf balls and military challenge coins.
I read extensively and have completed one novel (unpublished), with three other novels in various stages of completion. I am also working on a personal memoir/reminiscence of life in Lindenhurst in the '50's and '60's.
My brother Larry (who attended Lindenhurst HS his freshman year 1962-1963) was killed in 1969 in the collision between the Australian aircraft carrier Melbourne and the American destroyer Frank E. Evans. My Dad was one of the survivors of that collision; he now lives in Syracuse near my sister Luanne and her family. My youngest sister Suzie lives in Florida, while brother Jerry and his family live near San Antonio, Texas.
