James's Story
Hi Old classmates... I really don't know where to begin, so I'll keep it short and to the point. Since leaving elementary and junior high at Westmount and then taking a 4 year Matric program at Shep, I went on to the U of A to get a degree in science and then one in Ed. I enjoyed teaching for 25 years and then have gone onto property management. In between I married a fabulous lady who helped me to raise "3" great kids who now are grown and on their own.(happily I might add)
Now I wonder where you guys all went. I can only very sporadically touch base with 4 or 5 of you, although i remember in the lists in this Classmates Registry about 50, with that many more who are unlisted. With me attending Shep in 69 a...Expand for more
nd 70, due to the 4 year program, I got to know more of you because of that extra year.
I went to the 100TH ANNIVERSARY of Westmount School, and there wasn't any of you there, so the idea of a reunion at SHEP at 50 years seems unlikely. As much as i was not the most popular guy there, I did enjoy hanging out with the guys in PHYS ED 30, as I really took a shine to playing soccer, basketball, rugby, hockey, and even tennis. I know some of you have moved on to distant places in Canada, USA, and the world. I hope you have enjoyed your life so far and that you will continue to do so for a long time to come as I am. Maybe someday we will meet again and be able to go over some of those good times we once had. Cheers!
