James's Story
I graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1973 and flight school in 1975. I flew helicopters and later commanded Company A, 2-505 PIR (Parachute Infantry Regiment) of the 82nd Airborne Division. I chose to leave the active duty Army in 1979 and went to work for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. I worked as an industrial then environmental engineer after receiving my Masters degree in environmental studies I retired from Kodak in 2005. I stayed in the Army Reserves and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 23 years of service.

a Jane (Beckhorn) when she was a speech pathologists working for the State. We were married in November of 1991 and began living on a small farm raising our daughters from our first marriages . Rigel works as a manager in a 3D Photographic company. Skye presently lives in Ithaca, NY and is enjoying all the educational benefits of living in center of wine country of New York.
I was diagnosed with Parkins0n's Disease in 2003 and along with medication I had a (DBS) Deep Brain Stimulation) operation to help me manage my day to day activities.
