Spent sophomore and junior years (61-63) at Lincoln in SF, but family moved to Belmont for my senior year. In spite of that, appeared at Lincoln so often that years later as Lincoln reunion treasurer (10 year and 20 year), people were surprised I graduated from Carlmont, not Lincoln! College of San Mateo for two years, SF State for one year, married high-school sweetheart Marion Wiwel. Took a break for the Navy (USS Chicago -- CG-11, Radarman), then continued at SF State. Degree in accounting. Worked for a while at Toy Village on West Portal. While working for the Board of Equalization (sales & use tax -- Franchise is that other tax agency), Marion and I had two boys.
