I am Professor of Music and Director of Orchestral Activities at Syracuse University. This is my twentieth year here and I really love it. I have a Doctorate in Conducting from the University of Texas at Austin and can't believe that I have been teaching for 30 years... oh my...! I have two beautiful sons. Joshua is 6 and Christopher is 4, and a gorgeous daughter Isabella who is 9. My wife, Erin, is a high school band director. Life is good! jim
