James's Story
I am just a 50 year old guy who spent 10 years getting a 4 year college degree. (Move around SW Iowa alot)I have worked for the power company for the last 29 years. I am working on my 3rd apprenticeship for a Substation Electrician. I am Journeyman Machinist Mechanic and a Subtstation Technician
We have two children. Steph who is 22 went to a preforming arts school in Califonia,traveled to Germany and Japan and is now back in CB going to school and doing social work with children.
Alex is a senior at AL. In his youger days he did gymnastics. At age 13 here was ranked 2nd in the midest region. He Then became interested in high school sports. 3 years ago he could not swim a single stroke let alone breath proper when he was swimming. Today he is Captain of the AL swim team.He has broken 2 long standing school pool records in the 50 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay, the old records were in 1990...Expand for more

Married a girl from TJ.Paulette my wife works for Creighton Cardiac Center dealing with insurance.
Our spare time is spent following our son around in his sports and being Polly and PAPO to two beautiful little girls that our close friend has adopted. ( luci the one in my profile picture is the only one that has sat on the top of that car). Any extra spare time I get I spend with my midlife crisis, a 1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible which i restored about 6 years ago.. I took it on part of the 2008 Hot Rod Tour and am currently making plans for the 2010 tour.
My son Alex and I did the 2010 Hot Rod Tour. Drove over 2700 miles in 9 days from Newton Iowa to Mobile Alabama aand back. Drove through rain on three days of the trip. By the time we hit Alabama the temperature was in the high 90's to low 100's with 80% humidity. The joy a convertible without AC. Had a lot of fun
