Life I enlisted in the United States Navy in 1972 and served six years of combined active and reserve duty as an F-4 and A-4 aircraft mechanic, including service aboard the U.S.S. Lexington and U.S.S. Enterprise. I have a Master of Science Degree in Communications Systems Technology from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Cal and am a Distinguished Graduate of both the Basic and Advanced Communications Training courses. After completing Basic Communications Officer Training, I served as Maintenance Control Officer, Voice Operations Officer, and Executive Officer near San Francisco. Following completion of my master of science degree I was assigned to the Strategic Communications Division near Omaha Neb., as Chief, Plans and Exercises Branch with follow close to St Louis, MO.
