James's Story
Life
I retired as a US Marshal in 1999, but still work for them. I enjoy coaching little league baseball, bowling and golf .
Military
In 1967 I entered the US Navy. My first duty station was Andrews Air Force Base. During my stay at Andrews I played basketball for the Navy. Our team became the first basketball Base champions that the Navy ever had, at that time. From there in 1968 I vo...Expand for more
luntered for duty in Vietnam and served as a Naval advisor in the Naval Cag Unit stationed in Da Nang , 1969 I returned home on leave and returned to Japan and caught up with my new assignment aboard the George K. Mackenzie DD 836 and served off the waters of Vietnam from 1970 until my honorable discharge in 1971, and in 1971 I became a Deputy United States Marshal until retirement in 1999.
