Life First, let me apologize to all the people in HS that I annoyed, offended, or otherwise drove nuts. I really am a much better person. Really! I graduated college in 1980 then took some time off, bought a motorcycle, and traveled a bit. A couple years later, life caught up with me and Douglas Aircraft made me a job offer I could not resist. That started me down that dark road that leads to MBAs and careers. I skillfully stepped down the rungs of the ladder and descended to the dreaded level of management in the high tech industry. I surveyed that gray suited, gray-faced collection of managers, executives, VPs, and the CEO. And asked: "How did I get here?" This question sent me on a seven-year trek across three continents financed by the DOD. After much exploration, research, reasoning, and meditation, I found myself standing on the ancient walls of Troy. I obtained part of the answer. And now I am back and living in San Pedro.
