James A.'s Story

School My Father Rev. John A. Williams, associate pastor of First Baptist Church died when I was in first grade and of all the places in this world to live, my mother wanted to remain in Glouster. I'm a better man today because of it. Life is full of rejections and I've been able to handel them, because living in Glouster you were a part of society that was rejected or forgotten by the main stream of time. Because of that rejection I was determined to always be quallified for any job I would apply for in life. I completed most of my Sophmore year at San Diego City College. After active duty I worked for Columbus & Southern Ohio Electric Company where I completed the electrical repair journeyman apprentice program, and later enlisted into active reserve status with the US Army. I completed my Associate of Science degree at Columbus State Community College. I retired from the military under medical condition after almost 20 years of service. Later AEP downsized and I was let go. To get a better jo...Expand for more
