Worked at American Management Systems in Arlington, VA for about 5 years just after college. Mostly involved in managing the data center. Then went to work for Martin Marietta Data Systems for another 5 years. Formed a small consulting group with my former boss at AMS. ment business for a couple years. Came back to Maryland and worked privately as a securities analyst. Did that until 1996. Moved to California in late 1996 to work for Robertson-Stephens Investment Management managing a public and private investment fund. In 1999, my two principal partners and I spun out our "hedge" fund under our own company called Eastbourne Capital Management.
