Jim's Story
Life
We have been in Colorado since 1984, I as a mathematics professor at the U. of CO, now retired, my wife is a potter and retired from teaching pottery at the local community college.. Married since 1969 with two daughters. Youngest daughter had our first grandchild last January and the oldest will graduate from Berkeley with her PhD in January. We have a 10 acre piece of an old apple orchard and built our dream home - northern New Mexico style with foot ...Expand for more
thick walls and lots of covered portals - reminder of our years in New Mexico. Still working on my golf game, riding my mountain bike and hoping to ride the White Rim Trail in Utah this fall, working/driving old BMW's, playing with my Rhodesian Ridgeback Oona, and even still doing a little mathematics with my colleagues in Budapest. We plan to do some traveling - the Galapagos, a wee bit of Ireland, much of the far north, and some more. jdaly(at)uccs(dot)edu
