James's Story
I have been married for 33 years to Roberta. We have two children, Nate (22) and Addy (12). The four of us live in a house we built in Bangor.
After High School I went to The College of Art and Design in Detroit Michigan, a year later I joined the Army and became a photographer. While in Viet Nam I worked with the CID and eventually was the 9th Inf. Commanding General (CG) photographer. State side I was assigned to the 1st Inf. CG as Artist/Historian.
I returned to college in 1972, this time I went to The Art Institute of Boston and majored in Illustration.

For a few years I worked at a printing company in Bangor then in 1979 I created my own Graphics Company. My wife and I worked together to provide graphic art services to the area for well over a dozen plus years.
Currently I have been working for a local non-profit organization.
In my off time I'm working up a portfilo of computer generated graphic art. The PC has opened up a new adventure into a world of art that I find very exciting.
At 60 I think back to my art teacher Mr. Libby and the help and encourgement he extended to me.
The road I have taken has been an interesting one. If given the choice I would'nt have choosen another.
