"Remind your friends why they miss you." ?? I don't know if I can do that but. . .
The older I get the more nostalgic I get - go figure. Well, my first wife gave me the boot some time back (smart girl). We have one child - lives in Brooklyn. I live in CT for the last 15 years with my girlfriend Donna. She won't marry me (smart girl). I met her whilst sailing down in the Caribbean. She took me home and has been trying to fix me ever since - to no avail I'm afraid.
I have always been self employed and work as an inside painter/restorer/etc. and have done quite a bit of historical work. I haven't made much money though. Not for the lack of trying - mostly for the lack of working I guess.
For fun I like my work, reading and also travelling (mostly around the US and Islands) and of course sailing. I sail around New England these days and spend some time ...Expand for more
in Nantucket now and again where I also work a bit.
I'd like to retire but then how am I going to eat? Hmmm. Well, I will figure that out later.
For now I would be real happy to hear from some folks - all folks actually, who want to say hello. I still see and speak with my boy Rich Kurk. Also Joe Hubay and have had a few contacts with others from our "old school."
So what do you think of this "classmates.com" thing? Is it just that we are 60 or pushing 60 and watching our lives go by and want to look back one last time? We probably don't have a heck of a lot in common but one never knows. Maybe there is entirely new friendships in the making.
Does anyone know where Francis Paradise is? How about Bob Leith? Maybe there should be a reunion. Tell Richard Leonard to get it going. Seems like the kind of thing he and Kalafer could pull off.
