James's Story
Hey,
Got some college before being drafted for Nam. Served as a Hospital Corpsman { kind of like a feild Nurse }
After the service got a job in security / eletrical protection and experienced the dark side of political intrigue. Married the love of my life and managed to mess that up { we did have some good years }.Was VP of sales for a co. and traveled WAY TOO MUCH !
Now I have a small Hi-Tech equipment co serving the commercial pool industry, and travel more than my dog likes.
Two step children { a cop and a High School Principal }that I'm proud of! An abiding faith that some day I will figure out why I'm here ?
Hobbys..Gourmet Chef ,Sailing ,great music , and dabble in art and remodeling.My Ex said when we bought this place that I had just bought my next 30 year project { she knows me so well! }Most everything under the roof is or will be new and personal .
I've had three careers...Security for Embassys and the "important" in Wash.D.C.......Therapist in Atlanta ... and now my littl...Expand for more
e business which keeps me busy in a productive fashion. Inbetween I raced Engish sport cars professionaly { all too breifly, as being drafted really put a crimp on that }and occassionally raced sailboats.
Never learned to spell as this document will attest, and still love a great Scotch , also have rarely met a Cabernet Sauvignon that I didn't like { I am sort of the "Galloping Gourmet" in the galley or kitchen } and they do appreciate me at both Starbucks and airport bars when I'm on the road.
Still facinated by science { does anyone else recall Mr. German }and metaphysics
Presently starting to write a book , that no one will read , and learning to bake { bread }which hopefully someone will eat...the local deer love it. Hope to get a photo that does not destroy the camera soon and will post.
Hope that everyone else is well and will get in touch...our 50 th is coming up soon... is anyone working on that ?
Plans ...to retire on a sailboat and sail as much of this wide world as I can
