James's Story

consultant trying to turn it around. Funny thing about burned bridges: someone always finds a way to cross eventually. College Started the 10 year plan at age 25. Kept the career going, joined the Air Force Reserves and used the GI bill to help pay for school. Attended university at night. Took a little break in 1991 for an overseas visit with my Air Force Reserve unit. We stayed in quaint place called Desert Storm. Fortunately I am now too old to visit again. School was all work and no play as it was a program for working professionals. At least I didn't need the bar scene. You can put enough beer in a Big Gulp cup to make class time go quite smoothly. Finished one year ahead of schedule with a BS and a BA. Actually, it was mostly BS.
